Apple sets new industry standards for Battery chargers!

Apple has released a new battery charger that sets new industry standards! It is very eco-friendly as it is more efficient in terms of energy use.

It has the lowest standby power usage (electricity used when batteries are fully charged) at 30mW. That is around 10 times less than the average standby power usage of similar batteries chargers in the market at 315mW.

Furthermore, what may come as a surprise to you (I was, at least) is that this battery charger can and will work with other rechargeable NiMH AA batteries from other companies. Of course, it is still optimized for Apple’s rechargeable batteries (you get 6 when you buy this charger). This is rather odd for Apple, as she is known for being very exclusive in her products, rendering them incompatible with other electronic brands’ stuff.

It includes a detachable pin plug, and they most probably ship with different pins to fit various electricity outlets, negating the need for electrical adaptors. This keeps the product sleek and compact.

What more could you ask for? Sleek and minimalistic design, electrical efficiency, and maximized compatibility definitely set new industry standards!
